WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulations put certain responsibilities on producers to pay for the collection and recycling or disposal of electrical and electronic waste.
WEEE product can be identified by the following wheelie bin symbol:
This symbol indicates that the product with this symbol should not be disposed as general household waste at the end of its life. If you wish to dispose of this product, please do so in accordance with applicable national legislation or other rules in your country and municipality. By disposing of this product correctly, you will help to conserve natural resources and will prevent potential negative effects on the environment and human health.
There will be some items with the "Wheelie Bin" symbol on where Vapormatic is not classed as the producer. In these cases Vapormatic may arrange collection of the items or, at its discretion, arrange for the manufacturer to collect directly from the customer.
Vapormatic WEEE Disposal Procedure
Please contact your Vapormatic Sales department who will process your request. We will need your account number and the invoice number of the order that generated the sale of the WEEE item, in order to check the validity of the disposal. Once this is done the sales operative will issue a WEEE Disposal authorisation and you will be contacted and given instructions on how the consignment is to be uplifted.
