Vapormatic staff descended on Bicton College this week to help with the finishing touches to the 2008 BOAT (Bicton Overseas Agricultural Trust) Massey Ferguson 35.
Parts for this rebuild have been donated by Vapormatic and the tractor will be raffled off towards the end of the year.
Whilst most of the hard work had already been completed by Chris Jaworski (MIAgE. IEng; Course Manager, Land Based Engineering), there still remained several challenges, including reassembly of the brake drums, engine, fuel system and bodywork.
Present from Vapormatic were:
- Kevin Ireland (New Product Development Manager)
- Paul Burnett (New Product Development Engineer)
- Nathan Palmer (New Product Development Technician)
- Ben Wright (Marketing Assistant)
- Monika Przewoznik (Purchasing)
- Alfonsina Blackwell (Purchasing)
The tractor was finished in good time and was ready to load onto a trailer at the end of the day, where it was whisked off to its first event - The Royal Show at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
