Vapormatic has introduced a new electric swaging machine with quick change cluster dies. A powerful but compact 220 volt single phase swaging machine supplied as standard with seven quick change cluster system die sets (16, 19, 23, 26, 29, 38 and 45mm). With these die sets, hose diameters of 1/4in - 1.1/4in can be assembled, including multispiral hose.
This new cluster die system allows the swaging machine operator to select the required die size and insert the entire die set in one piece making changing dies an easy and simple process. The dies are retained by two o rings with compression springs fitted between each die to keep the dies correctly spaced. The new cluster die sets are compatible with older machines and so can be retrofitted into older machines, alternatively new machines can be bought with cluster dies.

Spare Part Kits for Cluster Dies

To support the new quick change cluster die swaging machine Vapormatic have introduced spare part kits for the cluster dies. New swaging machines with cluster dies are supplied with a small amount of o rings and springs as spares but should customers require more, Vapormatic now stock parts kit VFM4059 and VFM4060.
Should the cluster die be dropped and a spring lost or an o ring broken each kit will provide the parts required.
Please be aware the kits are not interchangeable.
