We are aware that there are times when items are ordered in error or indeed the incorrect items have been supplied, none of us are perfect and we accept there is a genuine need to return goods on some occasions.
In the past we have maintained a very flexible approach to this issue and have accepted any goods that are returned without prior authorisation. However, because of the problems this causes for both of us we have been forced to review this approach.
Therefore we must now insist that any items received into our warehouse without authorisation will not be processed and the goods will be returned to sender.
If you have goods to return, please contact our sales office at Exeter to request an RMA (returned material authorisation) Request form. This should be completed in full and returned to the sales office (please note that relevant invoice numbers are essential). If the return is approved we will send a numbered ‘RMA acknowledgement' to you as authorisation to return the goods and this document must be included with your return.
We are confident that this new system will offer advantages to both of us because there will be a documented record that will be of mutual benefit. The main advantage to you the customer is that your returns will be processed much faster and this of course means your credit will be issued quicker. Plus you will know before the goods are returned whether you are going to receive a credit (subject to the goods being in an acceptable condition)
