Cetane is a measure of the combustion performance of a fuel, the higher the number, the higher the quality. Vapormatic Diesel Fuel Additive typically improves the cetane number by 2.0 - 3.0 (around 3-8% improvement, depending on the type of diesel).

By improving the cetane number, the engine runs smother, quieter, more efficiently and with lower emissions. As many farm vehicles run on lower quality red diesel, the effects of the Fuel Additive will be even greater than those experienced on white diesel.
