VLA1500 Torque Wrench
The Vapormatic half inch Torque Wrench is made from chrome vanadium steel and has been designed to be incredibly hard wearing. Tip: Always re-set the torque wrench back to zero when not being used.
Filter Wrenches
The Vapormatic range of filter wrenches are a common feature of all workshops.
The VLA1148 Chain Wrench provides superior grip to remove all spin on filters up to 140mm in diameter with the aid of the strong hexagonal bar, biting into the soft steel casing to prevent slippage.
Tip: Lightly wipe with an oiled cloth to prevent rust after removing engine coolant filter.
The VLA1209 Strap Wrench offers a unique option: not only for removing spin on filters located in awkward places where the chain wrench will not fit; but for tightening those larger filters just that little bit more in order that they stay tight, without damage and ensuring future trouble-free removal.
Tip: Always clean spilt oil off each filter wrench to prevent slippages.
The VLA1169 Claw Wrench is a useful piece of kit; it will enable you to get the best possible grip from beneath a spin on filter. Imagine all those filters stuck behind the loader frame or underneath the tractor subframe, where the only access is beneath the filter. The three steel prongs grip the filter and remove it with ease, whilst the three eighths drive allows the optimum torque without being too heavy and cumbersome.
Tip: When working in a restricted area, make sure that no other parts can be damaged whilst you remove the filter.
