The strongly contested Vapormatic Stockist of the Year 2008 has been announced, but who has scooped the prize?
After much anticipation, the Vapormatic Stockist of the Year award has finally been announced. Presented for the financial year 2007/2008, the awards highlight exceptional performance from amongst the network of over 80 UK Vapormatic Stockists.
The winners have demonstrated excellence in all areas of their business including sales growth and presentation, professionalism, quality of service, support and commitment to the Vapormatic brand. As ever, the standards have been exceptionally high this year which made the decision so difficult to make. However, after much consideration, these are the winners:
Vapormatic Stockist of the Year: R. C. Boreham & Co
R. C. Boreham & Co. has demonstrated excellence in all areas of their business, from sales growth and presentation to professionalism and Quality of Service and this is why they are very deserving of this award.
R. C. Boreham's association with the Vapormatic Company began back in the early 1970s and we now see three generations actively involved in the Company. Of course, we must not forget Stuart, Parts Manager, who, although not shown in the picture, is so very well respected.
Accepting the award, Roy said, "It is a wonderful surprise that we have won this award, but over the years we have gone from strength to strength and this award is recognition of the hard work that my team has contributed."
Premier Stockist Category Winner: K. M. Parts Group
Based in Chippenham, with a further branch in Devices, K. M. Parts Group is going from strength to strength. They are a very dedicated and competitive team, and "second place" would not be in their vocabulary. Congratulations!
Category A Winner: Hughes Brothers
Gary and Roy Hughes have a long established Company in Oswestry. Tim Hughes is the Parts Manager, ably assisted by David. It is recognised that the spare parts business is the 'back bone' of their success. Looking to build on their success, they are investing in a brand new Parts Showroom.
Category B: Robertsons
Robertsons is situated in the Orkney Islands and is the most northerly Stockist that Vapormatic has. Once visited you reflect on how friendly the staff are and the wealth of experience and knowledge that the parts staff have, all of which are the foundations of the success of this company.
Category C: Top Link
Barry Hearn's sheer grit and determination has lead him to establish a very successful parts business. His pride in his excellent customer service and variety of product on the shelves has helped him to achieve this award.
