Better than ever
It was the turn of Kilkenny to play host to the National Ploughing Championships in Ireland for 2008 and Vapormatic was once again out to show why it is the industry leader in alternative replacement parts for agricultural machinery.
This year not one, but two new product ranges made their public debut. Classic panels were on show and Massey Ferguson 35, 65, 135, 165 and Ford Major, Super Major, Dexta, Super Dexta, 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 ranges are now catered for.
The other major development is the new range of Short Motors. Suitable for A3.152, AD3.152 rope seal and AD3.152 lip seal engines, these Short Motors offer customers the opportunity to save on unexpected repair bills and budget for one cost for that part of the rebuild. Ireland is an important market for rebuild enthusiasts and customers now have access to the complete package thanks to Vapormatic.
The show stand was Vapormatic's largest to date and included both Lackham and Bicton Colleges, BOAT (Bicton Overseas Agricultural Trust) and Kelsey Publishing. A three day rebuild of a Massey Ferguson 135 by students of Lackham College featured in a live webcast here on www.vapormatic.com, where viewers could see the project unfolding before their eyes. The fully restored 135 will now be raffled off to raise money for charity, details of which will follow soon.

An estimated 80,000 people a day turned up to see what was on offer and combined with beautiful dry weather a low cloud of dust hung over the event ground.
