Celebrating 25 years of trading in their current premises, Townson Tractors have successfully completed yet another popular open day. The Vapormatic stockist based in Hellifield, near Skipton opened their doors to the public for two days on the 27th and 28th February to show people what they have to offer in their store and to hopefully raise some money for two very deserving causes.
In total, 600 people turned out over the two days to view their product range, including their wide selection of Vapormatic replacement parts. There was also the chance for visitors to take a closer look at the wide selection of machinery that Townson Tractors had to offer.
In addition to this, Townson Tractors held a raffle and tombola to raise funds for two local charities, the Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands, and The Mayors Charity which is raising funds for specialist scanning equipment for Airedale General Hospital. Prizes that were on offer included a selection of tractor parts, JVC speakers, tools and a 500 watt Bench Drill which Vapormatic had kindly donated. In total, the raffle and tombola, plus donations to the two charities raised £2000 which was a fantastic achievement for the Townson Tractors team.
